Updates
What changed on Craft Converter and when. The site is maintained continuously: converters are tested against real projects, and fixes and improvements ship as they are found.
27 October 2026
- A new section of in-depth articles: how to convert an After Effects project step by step, what carries over and what doesn't, relinking footage, a pre-conversion checklist, Premiere Pro to FilmCraft, EffectCraft back to After Effects, and the Lightroom and InDesign routes.
26 October 2026
- Fonts are now served from the site itself: opening a page no longer sends your address to Google Fonts.
- Cookie settings link on every page, and a clearer cookie and advertising section in the privacy page.
20 October 2026
- Conversions keep running when a phone switches apps, and the page picks the result up when you come back.
- Uploads go up in small pieces and resume where they stopped if the connection is interrupted, so a project is no longer cut off halfway.
- An optional way to support the project with a coffee.
19 October 2026
- A redesigned result: the download button and a one-line verdict come first, the timeline scrolls inside its own box and can be filtered to the layers that need a look, and the report is organised in collapsible sections.
- A stepwise "How did it go?" card that never gets in the way.
16 October 2026
- Premiere Pro to FilmCraft converter, including image sequences, speed changes, track settings and a Link Media report.
- EffectCraft to After Effects converter that writes a script you run in After Effects.
- Guides for the pairs the Craft apps already open themselves: Lightroom Classic and LightCraft, InDesign and DesignCraft, Illustrator and VectorCraft, FilmCraft and Premiere Pro.
- Anonymous usage counts, visitor feedback by email, and security hardening of the conversion service.
15 October 2026
- Launch of the After Effects to EffectCraft converter in English and Italian, with a report of everything that did and didn't carry over.
- Real-project fixes: effects matched by plug-in name, footage path remapping, effect value ranges, time remapping, gradients, curves, 3D model layers and stroke dashes.
