Premiere Pro.prproj FilmCraft.fcproj Premiere Pro to FilmCraft

Open your Premiere Pro projects in FilmCraft.

Drop a .prproj. You get an .fcproj with your sequences, clips, transitions, audio levels and markers rebuilt, and a list of anything that didn't come across.

    From .prproj to FilmCraft

    1. 1

      Drop the project

Your .prproj, saved by Premiere Pro 2020 or later. Footage stays on your computer: only the project file is sent.

    2. 2

      Read the report

Every clip shows how it converted. Anything FilmCraft can't do yet is listed by name, so nothing goes missing quietly.

    3. 3

      Open and relink

Open the .fcproj in FilmCraft. Media still in the same place reconnects by itself; for the rest, right-click the offline media in the Project panel and choose Link Media. Open the .fcproj from inside FilmCraft (File ▸ Open Project, Cmd+O, or drag it onto the window): double-clicking it in Finder does not work in FilmCraft 0.8.
